Mazi Travel successfully completed its first training session for its staff on the topic of Workplace Safety & Health which took place on Thursday, February 6, at the company’s offices in Thessaloniki.
The training was attended in person by the company’s partners in Thessaloniki, while the staff members from the Athens office participated via video call, ensuring the involvement of all employees regardless of location.
The training focused on critical safety and health issues in the workplace, covering the following topics:
Ergonomics in the workplace – Proper posture and ways to prevent musculoskeletal problems.
Emergency situation management – Fire and earthquake response, evacuation procedures.
First Aid in the workplace – Providing immediate assistance in emergency situations.
Additionally, practical exercises were conducted on the Heimlich maneuver and CPR techniques, enhancing employees’ preparedness for handling emergencies.
The training was conducted under the guidance and coordination of Giannis Kalogiannidis – Sustainability Coordinator. Participants actively demonstrated their commitment to workplace safety and well-being, contributing to the creation of a safer working environment.
